DIY hair spray

Hello lovelies!!

One of my earliest posts on blogilisciousxoxo was a DIY sea salt hair spray. Since I’ve gained followers on my blog since publishing that post, I thought I would share an updated version for anyone who could find it useful❤

I love this DIY, and while I don’t like using non-haircare hair products too frequently, I do use this as an effective & less damaging hair spray often.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of water
  • 3 teaspoons sea salt
  • 2 drops lavender {or preferred} essential oil (optional)

To make:

Mix together the ingredients with a wire whisk, then bring to a rapid boil in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil for an additional 30 seconds, then take off heat.

Let the spray cool completely, before pouring into a spray bottle and tightening the lid.

Your spray is ready to use. 🙂

Have you ever DIYed a hair spray or similar product?? Let me know by commenting loves XOXO
