my october favorites // 2017

Hey lovelies! Though blogilisciousxoxo has been around for now over seven months, I recently realized I had yet to share a monthly favorites post. I definitely have several things that I liked and were my favorites throughout October, so I’m excited to share them with you today. Hope you enjoy reading! 🙂

  • OGX Coconut Curls Shampoo & Conditioner

Since I’ve started using this shampoo, my hair, which is often very frizzy and dry, is so much more healthier and silky smooth. If you have wavy to curly hair and are looking for sulfate-free, affordable haircare that leaves your hair beautifully soft and nourished, I definitely recommend this shampoo and conditioner.

    •  Olay Active Hydrating Cream

This is one moisturizer that doesn’t irritate my extremely senstive skin, and not only does it gently moisturize, it also smooths out my skin. My skin, due to breakouts and irriation, can have a slightly uneven appearance in spots, giving my makeup an overly textured, cakey look. Since applying this moisturizer before my foundation every morning, my makeup has never looked better and more naturally glowy on.

    •  â€‹Homemade Hot Chocolate

I shared my recipe for a healthier version of classic hot chocolate early in October on my blog, and since then I made it numerous times through out the month. Hot Chocolate is so delicious any time of year, and it was my go-to after long school days or while relaxing & chilling.

    • Pinterest

I’ve gained so much motivational inspiration from Pinterest this past month! Whether I was browsing and saving fashion, humorous, photography, or hairstyle (as pictured above, which is my hairstyle inspo board) pins, I gained a lot of inspiration for new blog posts, my instagram, and other areas. I absolutely love Pinterest (other than WordPress, its probably my favorite social media) and this month it was definitely an even bigger favorite and source of inspiration than usual. (:

    • oversized black hoodie

Needless to say, I love oversized clothing-particurarly oversized hoodies and sweaters. I’ve worn this black hoodie I featured in an OOTD post so much in October! It’s the perfect thing to wear on an extra chilly day or just whenever I need a wearable hug (aka on rough days).

That’s all for my favorites for October. Let me know about any current favorites of yours by commenting (:

    1. I love OGX shampoos and conditioners! I’ve been using the bamboo one lately, but before then I had a eucalyptus mint one I loved – but I had to switch it up. I have really fine and thin hair, so I’ve found that switching up my shampoos every now and then is actually good for my hair lol.
Love the rest of your picks for the month! I love oversized sweaters during fall and winter, so much more comfy! And I’ve never made my own hot chocolate but that sounds yummy – I’ll have to try!
