cute & casual OOTD tips

Hello lovelies! Today I’m sharing a few different tips of mine that I use to create an outfit of the day that I personally like, feel confident in, and that is usually cute and casual. If you enjoy styling outfits or need some #OOTD inspo, keep reading. πŸ™‚

1. Start with a staple or favorite piece or two from your wardrobe and work from there. Often, I begin planning an everyday outfit by starting with black, burgundy, white and/or blue denim pieces (my favs).
2. Accessorize. One of the easiest ways you can dress up an outfit or make it stand out is by using the right accessories along with it. Accessorizing a statement gold necklace over a tee with denim, a choker with a basic black dress, or booties and a crossbody bag with a sweater and jeggings are simple but super cute ways you can jazz up an outfit and make it totally yours. Some favorite staple accessories of mine include necklaces, chokers, scarfs, handbags, and shoes.
3. Add interesting detail. In addition to accessorizing, adding minor details throughout an outfit can produce trendy, original, or unique looks. Some ways I personally “add detail” to my outfits is by tucking the hem of my shirt in offcenter; wearing a loose top off one shoulder with a tank top underneath; or layering on jewelry, such as necklaces or bracelets, instantly adding interest and design to an otherwise basic outfit.
4. Be confident. More importantly than what you wear is how you wear it. Possessing healthy self-confidence while wearing whatever swag you have on is key to being happy with how you look. Don’t be afraid to admit God made you gorgeous and that whether you’re wearing sneakers & denim or high heels & a dress that you be slaying. πŸ˜‰

I hope these tips help you out with picking future outfits for the day. Have a wonderful weekend fashionistas πŸ™‚ xx

XOXO,
Veronica

  1. This is such an awesome post! I throughly enjoyed it and definitely needed your advice. xx Haha I deeply struggle to feel confident in what I wear, mainly because I’m not the best at accessorizing yet. I can’t afford my fashion sense! πŸ˜‚ Once I get a job I’m almost positive that will change.
